Job summary

Kide International is seeking a QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical Wet/Dry/Process) to supervise construction works, ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and schedule, and drive quality outcomes on site in Kulim. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in QA/QC within industrial projects, holds a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, and is fluent in Chinese.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working experience in QA/QC for construction projects.
• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Chinese language ability preferred as role may involve Chinese speaking clients.
• Experience in industrial projects is advantageous.
• Kulim site, six working days per week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor construction works per contracts and drawings.

• Manage QA/QC documents including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, and non-conformance reports.
• Develop and determine standards for inspections and testing procedures.

Job description

QAQC ENGINEER (Mechanical Wet/Dry/Process)

Candidate must be able to provide solution for QAQC matter and drive the result.

Responsible for the supervision and monitoring of construction works in accordance with the contracts and construction drawings especially in respect of specifications, quality and time of completion.

Accountable for the quality and workmanship of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction and interfacing of the multidisciplinary processes

Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.

Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.

To ensure that all materials delivered to site are conform to the approved specifications and the project's inspection test plan.

To regularly report to relevant superiors on the progress of the works and the problem areas encountered especially in respect defective, outstanding or non-confirming works or delayed works.

Upon completion of work, to carry out final inspections and handovers including ensuring that all as built drawings are prepared and a copy kept with relevant superiors prior to issuance of certificate of practical completion.

To control all relevant project documents and data, prepare reports on progress, site activities and all other related matters.

All other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior / management.

Qualifications & experience:

At least 3 years working experience in the related field required for this position.

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline

Candidate fluent in Chinese preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Chinese speaking clients.

Working experience in industrial projects is an advantage.

Candidate must be able to work in Kulimon6 working daybasisweekly.
