Job summary

Rockone Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA/QC professional with 2–3 years in marine construction. The role focuses on ensuring quality in jetty projects, dredging, and coastal works while coordinating with consultants and subcontractors.

You will review ITPs, method statements, IRs, and QCRs, conduct inspections, and drive corrective actions. Strong documentation and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2–3 years QA/QC experience in marine construction projects.
• Knowledge of jetty, quay wall, marine piling and foundation works.
• Experience with QA/QC documentation (ITP, Method Statements, IR, QCR).
• Familiar with relevant standards and quality management procedures.
• Able to conduct site inspections and ensure corrective actions.

Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, preferably in marine construction, port development, jetty construction, or other marine infrastructure projects.

Must have sound knowledge of marine construction activities, including:

Jetty and quay wall construction.

Marine piling and foundation works.

Reinforced concrete and structural works.

Marine dredging and reclamation works.

Construction inspection and quality testing.

Familiar with QA/QC documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, Inspection Requests (IR), and Quality Control Reports.

Knowledge of relevant construction standards, specifications, and quality management procedures.

Able to conduct site inspections, monitor construction quality, identify defects, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Able to coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site engineers.

Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in port expansion, jetty construction, marine piling, or coastal infrastructure projects.

Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Experience in preparing QA/QC reports and handling site inspections.
