Job summary

CCECC (M) Sdn. Bhd invites a qualified Quality Inspector to oversee site quality assurance on high-rise projects in Malaysia. You will develop inspection plans, supervise engineering quality at the construction site, and issue Site Memos and NCRs to subcontractors.

• Educational background in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• At least five years of experience in high-rise building construction.

• Experience in Malaysia, overseas projects, or familiarity with British Standards preferred.

Job description

Develop project quality inspection plans and quality assurance measures.

Supervise and inspect the engineering quality at the construction site, ensuring comprehensive and continuous quality supervision, inspection, acceptance, and record-keeping for key processes and concealed works. Issue Site Memos, NCRs, and other notifications to subcontractors for any quality issues found.

Conduct random inspections, sampling, and testing of incoming raw materials.

Submit inspection reports to the project supervision unit and assist in completing quality inspections for each sub-project.

Assist in organizing on-site quality analysis meetings and special quality meetings.

Participate in the investigation and handling of engineering quality incidents, review non-conforming products, issue quality rectification notices, supervise engineers in rectifying quality issues, and re-inspect and accept the corrections.

Prepare Method Statements, RPTs, RFIs, RFAs, RFWIs, and other related documents.

Job Requirements:

Educational background in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Bachelor’s degree or above.

At least five years of experience in high-rise building construction.

Physically and mentally fit, willing to work abroad for extended periods.

Diligent, detail-oriented, highly responsible, and a strong team player.

Candidates with work experience in Malaysia, overseas projects, or familiarity with British Standards are preferred.
