Avensys Consulting Pte Ltd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a QA Tester (Automation) to join a 12-month renewable contract. You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Selenium with Java, Cypress, and UFT, and drive test planning and execution across functional, regression and integration testing.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in QA automation, hands-on Selenium WebDriver with Java, and familiarity with Cypress and UFT.

• Minimum 3+ years of QA automation experience.
• Hands-on with Selenium WebDriver using Java; Cypress and UFT experience.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.

JOB TYPE:

12 Months Renewable contract

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java, Cypress, and UFT.
• Create and execute automation test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Identify, report, track, and retest defects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Participate in test planning, execution, and quality assurance activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in QA automation testing.
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java.
• Experience with Cypress and UFT automation tools.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience in preparing test scripts, test data, and test reports.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
