Job summary

Sephora Malaysia ( Beauty In Motion Sdn Bhd ) stores are seeking a diligent Stock & Merchandising Associate to maintain Sephora standards on the shop floor and in the stockroom. You will manage stock accuracy, assist with inventories, and support sales targets.

Responsibilities include receiving and moving stock, conducting cycle counts, enforcing FIFO for near-expiry items, replenishing shelves, and ensuring pricing and testers are present. Join a fast-moving beauty leader.

Qualifications

• Basic numeracy and literacy and English communication skills.
• Prior working experience in retail or consumer goods handling.
• Enjoys working in fast moving environment.
• Independent and well-organized; logical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store room is arranged and clean according to Sephora standards.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and stock movements; conduct receiving and returns.
• Conduct cycling inventories and annual stock takes; assist other stores with inventories as needed.
• Manage FIFO for soon-expiring products; prompt stock statistics.
• Support sales targets; ensure correct products are available on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with departments for launches; follow merchandising guidelines and planograms.
• Ensure shelves, fixtures, testers and prices are in good condition.
• Follow actions from Weekly Action Box; ensure Sephora audit compliance.
• Report to Store Manager.

Job description

Ensure that the store room is correctly arranged and clean according to Sephora standards.

Create an environment contributing to maintaining accurate stock level.

Stock Management

Conduct stock receiving, returns and ensure stock movement’s accuracy

Ensure that the inventory is correct (theoretical stock matches physical stock) by conducting cycling inventories, punctual inventories according to Audit requirements

Take part of the general inventory every year

Assist other stores in the country with the general inventory when required

Make a prompt statistic of soon-expired product and sell according to FIFO (First In - First Out)

SALES

Support to achieve sales target

Be aware of the store targets and actively work to support meeting or exceeding the sales target by ensuring that the right product are available on the shop floor.

Work with relevant departments to ensure key product launches and initiatives are fully supported by having the right stock level

Ensure that the store is in good condition i.e. shelves are replenished, fixtures are clean, testers and prices are present in good condition.

Ensure that the merchandising guidelines and planograms are followed according to the Merchandising Book and requirements.

OTHERS

Implement and follow through actions from Weekly Action Box assigned by the Store Management Team

Ensure store compliance with Sephora audit processes and requirements
