QA/Software Test Engineer – Automation, Functional & AI (All Levels)

We are seeking QA Engineers and Software Testers across all experience tiers. While this initiative is anchored by immediate openings for Senior QA Engineers, we welcome passionate testers, test automators, and early-career QA professionals looking to build cutting-edge testing practices.

In this role, you will champion product quality across core application suites, transition repetitive testing into automated execution, evaluate performance scalability under load, and integrate modern AI‑driven testing workflows to accelerate software delivery cycles.

Key Responsibilities

Functional & Exploratory Testing: Design, write, and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases to validate complex business logic, UI workflows, and backend interfaces.
Automation Engineering: Build, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and robust test suites using industry-standard automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or Robot Framework).
Performance & Load Verification: Conduct performance, stress, and scalability testing using performance tools (such as JMeter, k6, or LoadRunner) to detect system bottlenecks and latency issues.
AI-Driven Quality Assurance: Leverage AI tooling and intelligent assistants for rapid test case generation, test script maintenance, automated defect classification, and log analysis.
Defect Lifecycle & Collaboration: Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects through their complete lifecycle using Jira or enterprise defect tracking systems, working closely with cross-functional development and operations teams.
Continuous Testing in CI/CD: Integrate test suites into automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality checks across staging and production deployments.

Requirements & Qualifications1. Technical Capabilities

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Testing Foundations: Practical grasp of software testing fundamentals (STLC/SDLC), defect triage, boundary value analysis, and test documentation.
Automation Stack: Hands‑on experience or working familiarity with at least one automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting language (Python, Java, JavaScript, or Shell).
API & Backend Testing: Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or automated HTTP libraries.
Databases: Ability to write SQL queries to verify backend data integrity across relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).

2. Experience Tiers (All Levels Encouraged to Apply)

Senior Track (Primary Target) : 5+ years of software QA testing experience, demonstrated success architecting automation frameworks from scratch, and hands‑on exposure to performance testing or AI testing utilities.
Junior to Intermediate Track: 1–3 years of manual functional testing, regression testing, and early hands‑on scripting/automation exposure with high learning agility.
Fresh Graduates: Strong degree foundation in CS/Software Engineering with academic or internship exposure to software testing principles, bug tracking, and scripting.

3. Languages & Professional Competencies

English: Fluent written and spoken English for international collaboration and technical documentation.
Mandarin / Chinese: Conversational or business proficiency in Mandarin is an advantageous asset for regional engineering coordination.
Mindset: Sharp analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, proactive defect advocacy, and effective cross-team communication skills.
