Job summary

Food Junction in Malaysia seeks a QA Inspector to perform incoming material testing, IPQC sampling, and finished product analysis, ensuring timely release to meet consumer demands. The role includes environmental monitoring, retention sampling, and maintaining QA documentation.

The candidate should have 1–3 years in manufacturing or laboratory settings, with SPM/Certificate in relevant fields, strong technical knowledge, and proficiency in Malay and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing and/or laboratory environments.
• SPM/Certificate in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related fields.
• Good technical knowledge in processing, laboratory methods and food science.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Able to read and write in Malay and English.
• Precise, accurate, and well-organized with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work in shift rotation and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and sampling on raw materials, IPQC, and finished products.
• Conduct environmental monitoring tests such as swabbing and air sampling.
• Perform verification tests for laboratory and process equipment.
• Conduct retention/reference sample inspection.
• On-hold non-conforming materials and communicate with QA team.
• Perform sampling and re-sampling on materials and products as needed.
• Perform routine processing area inspections to ensure GMP and sanitation compliance.
• Manage documentation and filing of COA and QA-related records.
