Job summary

MIRI STEEL STRUCTURE & CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. seeks a QA/QC on-site specialist to oversee piping installation quality, welding, and fit-up procedures while coordinating with the project team and client representatives. The role includes preparing QA/QC documentation and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

The position also requires coordinating inspections and testing with third-party agencies, managing NCRs, and assisting the implementation of PQP and ITP processes on site.

Responsibilities

• Quality inspections of piping installation, welding, pipe fit-up, and related construction activities.
• Prepare, organise, review, and submit QA/QC documentation, including inspection records, inspection reports, quality checklists, and other project-required quality documents.
• Coordinate with the project team and third-party inspection agencies on inspections and testing, including NDT and piping pressure testing.
• Follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), quality defects, and corrective actions to ensure timely closure.
• Assist in implementing the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), and related QA/QC procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with construction team, project management, and client representatives, supporting inspections and quality acceptance.

2. 负责现场管道安装、焊接、管道组对及相关施工工序的质量检查，及时发现质量问题并跟踪整改情况。
Conduct quality inspections of piping installation, welding, pipe fit-up, and related construction activities. Identify quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.

3. 负责现场 QA/QC 相关文件的编制、整理、审核及提交，包括检查记录、检验报告、质量检查表及其他项目要求的质量文件。Prepare, organise, review, and submit QA/QC documentation, including inspection records, inspection reports, quality checklists, and other project-required quality documents.

4. 检验与测试协调 / Inspection and Testing Coordination
配合项目团队及第三方检验机构开展相关检验和测试工作，包括无损检测（NDT）、管道试压及其他适用的质量检验活动。Coordinate with the project team and third-party inspection agencies on relevant inspections and testing, including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), piping pressure testing, and other applicable quality inspection activities.

5. 质量问题整改跟踪 / Quality Issue Follow-up
负责跟踪施工过程中的不符合项（NCR）、质量缺陷及整改措施，确保相关问题按照项目质量要求及时关闭。
Follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), construction quality defects, and corrective actions to ensure timely closure in accordance with project quality requirements.

6. 质量计划与检验文件 / Quality Plans and Inspection Documents
协助执行项目质量计划（PQP）、检验与试验计划（ITP）及相关 QA/QC 程序，确保现场施工活动按照批准的质量文件实施。Assist in implementing the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), and related QA/QC procedures to ensure that site activities are carried out in accordance with approved quality documentation.

7. 项目团队协调 / Project Team Coordination
与施工团队、项目管理人员及客户代表保持良好沟通，配合现场检查、质量验收及项目质量问题处理。
Maintain effective communication with the construction team, project management personnel, and client representatives, supporting site inspections, quality acceptance, and resolution of quality-related issues.
