Job summary

Luxury Sleep Products Sdn Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a QA Assistant Manager to support the QA Manager in day-to-day QA/QC operations across the manufacturing floor.

You will supervise IQC, IPQC and Finished Goods QC activities, ensuring incoming materials, WIP, and finished products meet specifications and customer requirements. Responsibilities include planning inspections, conducting audits, root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, IPQC, or related manufacturing quality roles.
• Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Experience in mattress, bedding, furniture, foam, upholstery, or related manufacturing industries is an advantage.
• Experience in handling incoming, in-process, and finished goods quality inspection, NCR/CAR, and customer quality complaints is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate QA/QC personnel across IQC, IPQC, and Finished Goods QC.
• Ensure incoming materials, WIP, and finished products meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Plan and monitor daily inspection activities and ensure procedures are followed.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Issue, monitor, and follow up on NCRs and CARs; maintain quality records.
• Assist QA Manager with internal, customer, and external audits; follow up on findings.
