Job summary

Wan Ly Protective Packaging in Ipoh, Malaysia, seeks a Quality System/QA professional to join our operations. You will develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, quality manuals, and a QMS aligned with ISO standards to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.

You will perform incoming material inspections, line checks, and final testing, conduct internal audits, manage CAPA, monitor supplier performance, and present KPI data to senior management.

Quality System Management (QA): Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and Quality Management Systems (QMS) compliant with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485).

Inspections & Testing (QC): Perform incoming material inspections, line checks, and final testing of finished goods or structural milestones prior to client approval or shipment release.

Audit & Compliance: Conduct scheduled internal quality audits, coordinate with external certification bodies, and ensure strict regulatory adherence across all operational processes.

Defect Investigation & CAPA: Log non-conformances, lead root cause analysis using methods like 5-Whys or Fishbone diagrams, and execute Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to permanently eliminate quality gaps.

Supplier Quality Management: Monitor vendor performance, evaluate raw material quality, and conduct supplier quality audits.

Reporting & Calibration: Maintain inspection logs, organize equipment calibration schedules, and present quality performance metrics (KPIs) to senior management.
