Job summary

IK PLUS INDUSTRIES SDN BHD in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Executive to develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures aligned with company standards and customer requirements. You will conduct inspections on materials and finished goods, investigate defects, and support CAPA initiatives to prevent recurrence.

You will coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Sales to ensure quality across processes, support internal and external audits,

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures and quality systems in compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
• Perform and monitor incoming, in-process, and final inspections on raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods.
• Ensure production processes comply with approved specifications and SOPs.
• Investigate product defects, quality issues, and customer complaints; identify root causes and implement CAPA.
• Handle non-conformance reports (NCR) and follow up on corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Monitor production quality performance and recommend improvements to reduce defects, wastage, and customer rejection.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, test records, COA, and other QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Sales departments on quality-related matters.
• Support internal audits, external audits, customer audits, and certification activities (e.g. ISO or GMP if applicable).
• Ensure measuring and inspection equipment are properly maintained and calibrated according to schedule.
• Provide guidance and training to production operators on quality standards and inspection requirements.
• To undertake any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
