Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Engineer for large-scale infrastructure projects. You will implement and monitor the PQP, ITPs and QC procedures, and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and standards. Coordinate with PMs, engineers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on quality matters.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil/Electrical Eng and at least 1 year of QA/QC experience. NTSP holder is a plus, and travel to site projects may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1 year QA/QC Engineer experience in large scale infrastructure projects.
• NTSP holder is an added advantage.
• Experience in TNB projects is preferred.
• Good communication and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good report writing skills.
• Willing to travel to other site projects if required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP), ITPs, and QC procedures.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure works meet drawings, specs and contractual requirements.
• Review method statements, shop drawings, submittals, and technical docs prior to works.
• Coordinate with PMs, site engineers, consultants, clients and subcontractors on quality matters.
• Monitor civil, electrical and mechanical works including foundations, cabling, electrical equipment installation, testing and commissioning.
• Verify materials and equipment meet approved specs and certificates.
• Prepare and manage QA/QC records, NCRs, CARs, test reports and handover docs.
• Assist internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
