Job summary

China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd (Project Site Operations) – Klang, Selangor is seeking a QA/QC Document Controller with 1–2 years of experience in the construction/infrastructure sector. You will manage QA/QC documentation, maintain the EDMS, and coordinate testing records for site activities.

Role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a related field, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with EDMS tools like Aconex/SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of document control experience within the construction/infrastructure sector (experience in railway, highway, earthworks, or soft ground treatment projects is an advantage).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Familiarity with EDMS software (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, or internal document tracking portals).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage for coordinating with project stakeholders).
• Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, strong multi-tasking abilities, and capability to work effectively under tight project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC Document Management: Maintain, log, and organize all QA/QC documentation, including Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Request for Inspections (RFIs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Reports (CARs), and Material Review Applications (MRAs).
• EDMS & Register Maintenance: Operate and update the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and maintain accurate master document registers for all incoming/outgoing QA/QC transmittals.
• Inspection & Testing Records: Coordinate the registration, distribution, filing, and close-out tracking of site inspection sheets, lab test reports (soil, concrete, asphalt, steel), and third-party test results.
• Transmittals & Workflow: Receive, track, and distribute QA/QC submittals between internal engineering teams, subcontractors, main contractors, and the Consultant / Employer's Representative.
• Compliance & Audit Prep: Assist the QA/QC Manager/Engineer in preparing documentation for internal quality audits, client audits, and statutory/regulatory compliance checks.
• Handover & Handover Dossier: Help compile, index, and archive Final QA/QC Dossiers, As-Built documentation, and Handover Packages for sectional completions.
