Job summary

Rubberex (M) Sdn. Berhad, Ipoh, Malaysia, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA team in a nitrile disposable gloves facility.

The role focuses on maintaining quality systems, driving continuous improvement and ensuring ISO compliance across production and audits. You will work from our Ipoh site with opportunities to influence plant-wide quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001, RCA and CAPA.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and leadership skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team to ensure product quality and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems and procedures

Monitor quality performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Investigate quality issues, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements and support internal/external audits

Work closely with Production and other departments to resolve quality-related issues

Prepare and monitor quality reports, KPIs and improvement activities

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field

Minimum 3 years of relevant QA/QC experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Good knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001, quality control, RCA and CAPA

Strong problem-solving, analytical and leadership skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work independently and manage a team effectively

Experience in rubber or glove manufacturing will be an added advantage
