Job summary

Qnnect (M) Sdn Bhd is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector for its Penang facility in Simpang Ampat. The role involves inspecting components, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

You will assist engineers to identify non-conformances, document findings, and participate in corrective actions while complying with safety and quality systems. Overtime and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of working experience in QC or QA preferably in assembly environment.
• Familiar with use of inspection tools such as microscope, calipers, VSM etc.
• Good computer skills such as MICROSOFT OFFICE.
• Able to understand Malay language and basic English.
• Good discipline and working attitude.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work overtime and on shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of cable and connector parts, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Assist Engineer in identifying, recording, and segregating non-conforming products; re-inspect reworked items.
• Record inspection data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate quality documentation.
• Escalate non-conformance issues to engineers for corrective action.
• Comply with quality and safety standards at all times.

Job description

Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of cable and connector parts, subassemblies, and finished products.

Assist Engineer in identifying, recording, and segregating non-conforming products; re-inspect reworked items.

Use measurement tools and testing equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, electrical testers, etc.) to validate product quality.

Record inspection data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate quality documentation.

Escalate non-conformance issues to engineers for corrective action.

Comply with quality and safety standards at all times.

Work overtime and shift work as required.

Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business conditions or changes.
