Job summary

Globetronics Technology Berhad is seeking a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Front-End of Line (FOL) and End-of-Line (EOL) semiconductor manufacturing to ensure quality and reliability of products. You will monitor processes, analyze defects, and lead continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of QA/Quality Engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience in FOL and/or EOL semiconductor processes preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, quality control and defect analysis.
• Experience with SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, 8D, CAPA, RCA and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain quality performance for FOL and EOL semiconductor processes.
• Analyze process and product defects and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other quality tools.
• Monitor quality KPIs, yield, defect trends and process performance.
• Work with Process, Equipment, Production, and NPI Engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Support NPI, new process qualification, product transfer and engineering builds.
• Develop and maintain quality documents, inspection standards, control plans, FMEA and work instructions.
• Lead or support internal, customer and process audits.
• Handle customer complaints and prepare investigation and corrective action reports.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to improve yield and reduce defects.
