Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to analyse requirements, identify issues, and solve problems.
• Experience with automated testing tools - Playwright and scripting languages (e.g. Typescript).
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and strategies for software applications.
• Perform functional and system testing of software applications to identify issues or defects.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are met and communicated properly.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify bugs and provide detailed information to assist in resolving issues.
• Participate in the design and development of automated testing scripts.
• Create, maintain, and update test cases and test data.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to enhance product quality and resolve defects.
• Report defects and issues through a bug tracking system and prioritize resolutions.
• Actively participate in product release planning to ensure the product meets requirements.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and identify risks or issues affecting timeline.
