Job summary

Guppy Plastics Industries is seeking a proactive QA Assistant Supervisor to oversee daily QA/QC activities, supervise inspection staff, and drive ISO compliance. You will ensure all products meet stringent quality standards and support CAPA initiatives.

You will contribute to maintaining QA documentation, training inspectors and operators, and coordinating with production to release compliant finished goods. Night shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection processes and measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with plastic injection molding defects is a plus.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance for QMS and Environmental Management System.
• Record, maintain, and control QA documentation.
• Support QA activities across all sections to ensure smooth operation.
• Compile and update weekly Quality Reports for management review.
• Assist in CAPA investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Verify outgoing products meet customer requirements and ITPs.
• Monitor QA inspections and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Prepare SOIs and train QA Inspectors and Operators.
• Supervise inspectors and ensure accurate inspections per QA responsibilities.
• Report non-conformances (NCR) and coordinate corrective actions.
