Job summary

Shin Heung Sec (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a detailed-oriented purchasing professional to support daily procurement activities, including PO creation and supplier coordination. The role involves maintaining records, monitoring stock, and handling LMW-related reporting and customs compliance.

You will liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth shipments and act as PIC for LMW audits and regulatory inspections, while keeping documentation properly filed and up to date.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily purchasing activities, including preparing Purchase Orders (PO).
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, consumables, spare parts, and other operational requirements.
• Maintain and update purchasing records, supplier databases, quotations, and procurement documentation.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels and follow up on replenishment requirements when necessary.
• Manage all LMW related activities, including the preparation and submission of LMW monthly/quarterly reports, and ensuring accurate maintenance of customs records.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs brokers to ensure smooth shipment and clearance processes.
• Act as the primary Person in Charge (PIC) for LMW audits, customs verification, and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure all purchasing and LMW documentation is properly filed and maintained in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Senior Purchasing Executive in purchasing and any other duties assigned from time to time
• Execute the registration and classification of raw materials, machinery, and finished goods under the LMW license through the Customs system (U-Customs/SMK).
