Job summary

Traka (Assa Abloy) is seeking an entry-level Purchasing Executive to support stock availability and supplier coordination at our Subang Jaya office.

You will plan purchases, manage shipments, and oversee regulatory requirements while working with sales and 3PL partners to optimize stock levels and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement planning and supplier management.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills for stock and order planning.
• Ability to liaise with sales and logistics teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring 100% stock availability and maintaining minimum safety stock levels for core items.
• Plan and place orders with suppliers to meet demand and MTPT requirements.
• Coordinate shipment arrangements, duties, taxes and GRN processes.
• Chair weekly procurement meetings with sales management to review order book status.
• Oversee application processes for firedoor tags, Sirim and related requirements.
• Load new SKUs and adjust stock as needed.
• Collaborate with 3PL to ensure on-time, in-full delivery and inventory accuracy.
• Manage vendor relationships with APAC on performance, pricing and payment terms.

Purchasing Executive | Traka# Purchasing Executive• Ensuring 100% stock availability and minimum safety stock levels on all core sales items to meet and satisfy customers and sales team demand • Planning and placing of orders with suppliers to meet demand and MTPT requirements • Management and shipment arrangements through consolidator, duties taxes and GRN process • Chairing weekly procurement and ordering meetings with sales management team to review order book status on all stock availability and delivery status • Overseeing and management of application for firedoor tags, sirim and others as required • Processing and management of firedoor process through approval and local factories • Processing and loading of new SKU’s and doing stock adjustments as and when required • Managing project stock ordering schedules to optimize on customer required delivery schedules, factory MOQ’s and local stock holdings • Plan in inventory strategies for different categories - A,B,C & SLOBs • Work closely with sales managers on SKU optimization, rationalization & SLOBs reduction • Building strong and collaborative supplier relationships to deliver optimal stock, supplier and lead time management • Involved in resourcing existing products from current supplier to Assa Abloy approved supplier • Working closely with appointed 3PL to deliver on time in Full, Inventory accuracy • Resolve issues from both internal, external customers & 3PL • Work closely with APAC on vendor management from performance, pricing & payment term. • Updating and keeping active supplier master file, terms, contracts , prices as required • Assist supplier audit as required**We are the ASSA ABLOY Group** Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
