Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Public Relations professional to formulate and execute PR activities through media, including press releases, conferences and interviews. You will manage social media, publish event information, and ensure messaging across channels.

Qualifications

• Must have a diploma or degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
• Experience in public relations or related field is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute public relations through media, including press releases, press conferences, media interviews, and updating company web content.
• Manage company's social media platforms, content management, publish event information, ensure messaging consistency, respond to inquiries.
• Promote and manage brand image to enhance visibility and reputation in the market.
• Plan and oversee sponsorship activities and community engagement.
• Prepare and organize events such as press conferences, shareholder meetings, and annual dinners.
• Prepare and edit publications like shareholder reports and company profiles; archive information.
• Liaise with government agencies and coordinate activities with partners.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for formulating and executing public relations affairs through media, including issuing press releases, press conferences and media interviews, responding to media inquiries and development and maintenance, and updating company's web content.
• Manage the company's social media platforms, content management, publish information about events, ensure appropriate messaging on social media, and handle questions and feedback on social media.
• Promote and manage the company's brand image to enhance visibility and reputation.in the market.
• Plan and oversee the sponsorship activities and community engagement to improve the company's social image
• Preparing and organizing various events such as press conferences, shareholder meetings, and annual dinners
• Prepare and edit company publications such as shareholder reports, company profiles, and collecting and archiving company information.
• Cooperate with other departments to liaise with government agencies and organize related activities with partners
• Able to undertake the ad-hoc tasks and related duties as and when required from time to time which assigned by the superior or manager
