Alfa Laval Technologies in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage day-to-day AP operations, process invoices, and handle supplier payments within a timely, accurate framework.

You will resolve PO-related queries, coordinate with local finance, and contribute to month-end closings with strong analytical and communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Preferable degree in Finance/Accounting or other related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable area in SSC/BPO.
• Practical knowledge of accounting processes and rules.
• Strong Analytical skills include identifying, forecasting and resolving problems.
• Have excellent communication and numeric skills with good attention to detail.
• Proficient in English communication (both verbally and in writing).
• Have the ability to adapt when, due to business demands, deadlines and priorities change.
• Practical knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• iScala knowledge is a plus.

• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Provide supporting documentation for audits.
• Prepare required monthly reports and assist with month-end closing.
• Ensure data accuracy across all applied systems.
• Suggest improvements across the PtP function.

About The Job

Manage the day-to-day accounting operations within area of responsibility.

Job Description

• Handle incoming invoices in accurate and timely manner,
• Process the approved invoices according to agreed procedures and standards,
• Resolve independently the majority of Purchase Order-related queries,
• Pro-actively reach out to local finance representatives regarding the unapproved invoices,
• Perform supplier payments according to payment calendar,
• Resolve PtP-related queries received from local finance or the suppliers,
• Prepare independently periodical accounts' reconciliations,
• Provide documentation support for audit purposes,
• Prepare required monthly reports,
• Assist with month end closing activities,
• Ensure 100% data accuracy in all applied system,
• Suggest potential areas for further development or improvement across PtP function.

What You Know
