Job summary

Sea Horse Services Sdn. Bhd. invites graduates to join a PROTEGE training program for 6 months on the Menaik Taraf Jeti Kargo project, Kg. Tekek, Pulau Tioman, Pahang. You will gain hands-on experience in marine infrastructure projects under JKR supervision.

The program provides RM2000 monthly allowance; you will prepare technical documents, attend site visits, coordinate with teams, monitor progress, and help improve SOPs and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering / related required.
• Familiarity with planning and execution of coating/construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of coating and construction projects
• Prepare technical documents, method statements, proposals, and tender submissions
• Attend site visits, inspections, and technical briefings with clients and consultants
• Coordinate with operations, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor site progress, quality, and compliance with technical specifications
• Prepare project documentation including Daily Progress Reports, Inspection Reports, and Project Closure Reports
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving technical issues, defects, and non-conformances
• Support development and improvement of SOPs, work procedures, and safety practices
• Provide technical support to sales and project teams when required

Contract Overview

The project “Menaik Taraf Jeti Kargo Kg. Tekek, Pulau Tioman, Pahang” is a government infrastructure project under the supervision of Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Malaysia. The works involve upgrading and strengthening an existing cargo jetty to improve safety, durability, and operational efficiency. The project includes marine and over-water construction works carried out in a coastal and island environment. Located on Pulau Tioman, the project requires careful planning around marine conditions and monsoon seasons. All works are executed in accordance with JKR specifications, with strong emphasis on quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
