Job summary

The Hershey Company in Malaysia seeks a Protection Officer to safeguard people, facilities, and assets. You will support daily security operations, manage access control, monitor CCTV, and participate in incident response and investigations.

You will work with security leadership, contractors, and site teams to ensure compliance, business continuity, and food defense programs while promoting a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in security, law enforcement, military, or private security environments.
• Experience leading or coordinating security personnel and operations.
• Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, visitor management, and alarm systems.
• Experience in incident investigations, incident response, and emergency management.
• Familiarity with security regulations, risk assessments, and food defense or supply chain security.

Responsibilities

• Support daily security operations and coordinate coverage with outsourced personnel.
• Monitor and maintain CCTV, access control, visitor management, and fire protection systems.
• Operate the Security Control Room and document incidents for investigation and escalation.
• Respond to security and emergency incidents with internal teams and leadership.
• Conduct inspections, searches, patrols, and access checks to maintain a secure facility.
• Assist with investigations, risk assessments, audits, and compliance in security and food defense.
