Job summary

Hershey Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Protection Officer to safeguard people, facilities, assets, and operations. You will support day-to-day security operations, coordinate with outsourced personnel, and help manage access controls, CCTV, and incident response.

The role requires at least 5 years in security and proven leadership. You will work in a food manufacturing environment, contributing to business continuity, food defense, and safety objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in security, law enforcement, military, or private security.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day security operations and coordinate coverage with outsourced personnel.
• Monitor and maintain CCTV, access control, visitor management, and fire protection systems.
• Operate and administer the Security Control Room and document incidents.
• Respond to security and emergency incidents with internal teams and leadership.
• Conduct security inspections, searches, patrols, and access checks.
• Assist with investigations, risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
• Support business continuity planning and crisis management exercises.
• Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing procedures and policies.
• Build positive relationships with employees, contractors, vendors, and authorities.
• Identify opportunities to enhance site security performance.
