Job summary

Second Talent is seeking an experienced Technical Lead in Malaysia to guide a development team, own architecture, and drive the delivery of large-scale solutions for a PropTech platform. You will mentor engineers, review designs, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on coding expertise in React, Golang/JavaScript, and AWS, plus experience with PostgreSQL and CI/CD.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
Minimum 5 years in technical software development with 2+ years as Technical Lead.
Strong stack: React, Golang/JavaScript, AWS; PostgreSQL is a plus; familiarity with UML.

Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for architecture and technical design of new features.
Review implementation plans to ensure performance, scalability, governance.
Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and team mentorship.
Define and manage resource plans with Technical and Product Managers.
Lead technical execution to meet scope and timelines; manage risks.
Collaborate across SDLC with SMEs and product managers; ensure alignment with business requirements.
