Job summary

Zurich 56 Company Ltd is seeking a Product Manager to strategize and deliver new and enhanced products across all FT channels in line with regulatory requirements and timelines. Responsibilities

• Strategize and deliver new/enhanced products for all FT channels (Individual and Group products) within the timeline.
• Recommend Product Strategy, prepare and identify potential product proposals through competitor product and database analyses, ground engagements, focus groups with the distribution team.
• Design FT new products or enhancements with point of differentiation to create competitive edge.
• Manage the product development cycle – engagement with pricing, underwriting, distribution, legal, compliance for required product approvals, with documentation of approvals and minutes.
• Lead and Manage end-to-end product development process in accordance with SOP and requirements.
• Coordinate with Distribution on product notifications and ensure product internal training is conducted timely to operational staff and customer support teams.
• Lead the team in preparing all product collaterals: certificates, product disclosure sheets, marketing illustrations etc. with reviews and sign-off.
• Market research and competitiveness studies for all new products/enhancements.
• Review proposition development in respect of risk, guarantees, suitability and business case in the proposition framework.
• Lead the team in managing system requirements and UATs, ensuring robust sign-off within timelines.
• Lead post-implementation review on new products launched and complete action items identified.
• Provide leadership to empower the team and ensure regulatory adherence of product management.

Job description

• Strategize and deliver new / enhanced products for all FT channels (Individual and Group products) according to company’s direction, market needs and regulatory requirements within the timeline set
• Recommend Product Strategy, prepare and identify potential product proposalsthrough competitor product and database analyses, ground engagements, focus groups by proper presentation and preparation of product materials and discussions with distribution team
• Design FT new products or enhancements with point of differentiation to create competitive edge
• Manage the product development cycle – engagement with key stakeholders in the product development process such as pricing, underwriting, distribution, legal, compliance for the required product approvals in line with company and regulatory guidelines, with proper preparation and documentation of approval paper and meeting minutes on approvals
• Lead and Manage end-to-end product development process in accordance to company’s SOP and requirements.
• Manage various department teams on all matters including providing solutions, relating to the development of new products and product enhancements.
• Lead the team in preparing all product collaterals: ie certificates, product disclosure sheets, marketing illustrations etc in line with company and regulatory requirements. All materials to be reviewed and sign off accordingly within the specified timeline.
• Market research and competitiveness study for all new products / enhancements.
• Review and challenge proposition development in respect of risk, guarantees, suitability and overall business case or key areas in the proposition framework.
• Lead the team in managing/ supporting system requirements and system issues. Review test script and ensure all UATs are robust and properly signed off within the set timeline.
• Coordinate with Distribution team on product notifications and ensure product internal training are conducted timely to operational staff and customer support team.
• Accountable for product initiative / campaign proposal to enhance sales opportunities.
• Lead Post Implementation Review on all new products launched, assess the proposition success and work with stakeholders to complete action items identified.
• Provide leadership and empower the team to perform individual tasks with appropriate guidance and advice.
• Product management in line with regulatory changes and requirements.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically or involve in ad hoc initiatives/ special project assigned to meet operational and/ or other regulatory/ compliance requirements.
