Job summary

Watsons Malaysia is seeking a Property Sourcing & Leasing Specialist to source and assess potential sites for expansion, conduct market research, and monitor competitor activity. You will lead a team on tenancy matters, assist rental negotiations, prepare business cases, and coordinate with landlords and internal teams to resolve tenancy issues.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in Property Management or a related field with 5–6 years’ experience in retail leasing or property

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field with approximately 5–6 years’ relevant experience, preferably in retail leasing or property management.
Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
Able to lead and guide team members, monitor progress, and take ownership of deliverables.
Good planning, prioritization, and follow-up skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Source and assess potential new sites for expansion, including market research, property trends, and competitor activity.
Lead and guide team members in site sourcing, tenancy matters, landlord coordination, and follow-up actions.
Support rental negotiations, lease execution, tenancy documentation, and related correspondence.
Prepare and present site proposals, business cases, and recommendations to management.
Work with landlords, internal departments, and external parties to resolve property and tenancy matters.
Review tenancy agreements and support other property-related duties or projects as assigned.
