Job summary

Kueen Lai Properties Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Executive (Property Development) to manage the full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR, and month-end close, in Kajang. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with hands-on exposure in the property development or construction industry.
• Demonstrable experience in audit preparation or audit processes (internal or external).
• Proficient in handling a full set of accounts independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the full set of accounts independently, including GL, AP, AR, and month-end closing
• Prepare accurate bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow and bank balances
• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports for management review
• Play an active role in audit preparation — liaising with external auditors, preparing audit schedules, and ensuring all documentation is complete and audit-ready
• Handle property development-related accounting including progress billing, developer accounts, and project cost tracking
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
• Maintain organised and systematic documentation for all accounting entries and transactions
• Support tax computation and submission in coordination with tax agents
• Assist in ad-hoc finance and accounting assignments as required by management
