Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Project Technician in Batu Kawan to install basic system field devices, commission using standard tools, and troubleshoot issues during commissioning and warranty calls. You will keep stakeholders informed and ensure work meets safety standards.

You will document progress, support customers and contractors, and collaborate with teammates to deliver reliable building technology installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, or maintenance of field devices and systems.
• Familiarity with standard electrical/system concepts and commissioning tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job description

• We are seeking a Project Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing basic required system field devices and performing commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools. You will also troubleshoot and resolve system problems and respond to basic warranty calls. The Project Technician will keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any issues as necessary.
