Job summary

Plastictecnic (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a practical, hands-on junior-to-mid-level executive to support upcoming building projects and sustainability initiatives. The role blends project coordination with site follow-up and ESG data work, with responsibilities ranging from supplier quotations to documenting progress.

The candidate will collect ESG data, perform basic trend analyses, and assist in sustainability projects such as energy saving, recycling, solar, and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in relevant building/construction/engineering fields as stated.
• Around 2-4 years of working experience preferred.
• Experience in renovation, construction, site coordination or contractor work is an advantage.
• Comfortable using Excel and handling data.

Responsibilities

• Assist in obtaining and comparing quotations from contractors and suppliers.
• Help monitor renovation and construction progress at site.
• Follow up with contractors on schedule, workmanship and outstanding items.
• Assist with simple costing, material checking and variation work.
• Keep site photos, progress records and basic project documentation.
• Support upcoming projects such as factory renovation, new hostel construction and factory development.
• Collect and update ESG data monthly (electricity, fuel, water, waste, carbon emissions).
• Check data accuracy and prepare simple trend analyses and summaries.
• Maintain ESG records and reporting systems.
• Assist in preparing customer, audit and management ESG information.
• Support new sustainability projects such as energy saving, recycling, solar, water saving and waste reduction.

Plastictecnic (M) Sdn Bhd is looking for a practical and hands-on person to support our upcoming building projects and sustainability activities.

The role will involve a mix of project coordination, site follow-up, ESG data recording, and sustainability improvement work.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Site Support

Assist in obtaining and comparing quotations from contractors and suppliers.

Help monitor renovation and construction progress at site.

Follow up with contractors on schedule, workmanship and outstanding items.

ESG & Sustainability Support

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Building, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Around 2-4 years of working experience preferred.

Experience in renovation, construction, site coordination or contractor work will be an advantage.

Basic knowledge of costing, quotations and construction drawings.

Comfortable using Excel and handling data.

Willing to visit project sites and follow up with contractors.

Organised, responsible and able to work independently with guidance.

No strong ESG background required; training and existing systems will be provided.

Interest in sustainability and improvement projects is an advantage.

This role is suitable for a junior-to-mid-level executive who has some practical construction or renovation exposure and is willing to learn both project coordination and sustainability work.
