Job summary

Ditrolic Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Development Executive to support pre-development activities for infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of pre-development activities for infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate land identification, preliminary site assessments and land suitability reviews.
• Conduct land due diligence: title searches, ownership verification, encumbrance checks, and documentation.
• Engage with landowners, land agents, surveyors, consultants, and authorities on access, leases, and site development.
• Assist in securing land access rights, easements, ROW for transmission lines and interconnection facilities.
• Coordinate site surveys, geotechnical, environmental and social studies with consultants.
• Prepare and follow up on planning approvals (DO/KM, ROW, local authorities).
• Liaise with government agencies and utility providers to facilitate approvals.
• Maintain trackers for land status, permits, submissions, stakeholders and deliverables.
• Perform regular site visits to verify conditions and progress.

This role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of pre-development activities for infrastructure and renewable energy projects. You will manage land identification, site assessments, due diligence, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory approvals throughout the pre-development phase.

Key responsibilities

Support the planning, coordination, and execution of pre-development activities for the project

Coordinate site identification, preliminary site assessment, land suitability review, and development feasibility activities

Support land due diligence, including land title searches, ownership verification, boundary confirmation, encumbrance checks, and land documentation

Coordinate with landowners, land agents, surveyors, consultants, and relevant stakeholders on land access, lease, acquisition, and site development matters

Support the securing of land access rights, easements, wayleave, and Right-of-Way (ROW) for transmission lines and interconnection facilities

Coordinate site surveys, geotechnical investigations, environmental & social studies, and other technical assessments with consultants during the pre-development stage

Support the preparation, submission, and follow-up of planning and development approvals, including DO/KM, ROW, and relevant local authority approvals

Liaise with government agencies, local councils, land offices, utility providers, and regulatory authorities to facilitate project approvals

Maintain and update land status, permitting, authority submission status, stakeholder, consultant deliverable, and ROW trackers

Conduct regular site visits to verify site conditions, access constraints, surrounding infrastructure, development progress, and stakeholder issues

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Land/Property Development, Environmental Science, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline

2–5 years of experience in project development, site development, renewable energy, infrastructure, property development, or utility projects

Experience in land matters, authority approvals, permitting, ROW, planning submissions, or stakeholder engagement

Familiarity with solar PV, power infrastructure, transmission lines, substations, or large-scale development projects

Basic knowledge of Malaysian land, planning, environmental, and local authority approval processes

Strong project coordination, documentation, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills

Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify development risks and recommend practical mitigation actions

Good written and verbal communication skills (Bahasa Malaysia & English) when dealing with authorities, consultants, landowners, contractors, and internal teams

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools

Possess a valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently for site inspections, authority engagements, and stakeholder meetings
