Job summary

PLUS XNERGY SERVICES SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Planner (Operation & Maintenance) in Kuala Lumpur to develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans for solar PV installations, coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure on-time delivery of tasks.

The role requires electrical experience, knowledge of solar systems, and competency certifications (SPM/SEDA/ST). You will maintain logs, dashboards, and O&M records, and support procurement and spare parts

Qualifications

• SPM certificate or SEDA solar systems certification is required.
• Experience or knowledge in handling electrical equipment is preferred.
• Competency from ST or SEDA is encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Job description

Project Planner (Operation & Maintenance)

• 1. Develop, organize, and keep current the preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all solar PV installations.
• 2. Work closely with internal departments, contractors, and clients to ensure that all scheduled maintenance activities are completed on time.
• 3. Monitor and document maintenance progress, including outstanding tasks, completed work, and overall site performance updates.
• 4. Keep maintenance logs, dashboards, and O&M records up to date to support compliance requirements and performance reporting.
• 5. Assist in creating weekly and monthly maintenance schedules, performance reports, and key metric summaries.
• 6. Support spare parts control by tracking inventory levels and arranging replacements as needed.
• 7. Coordinate with the procurement team for material requests and resource planning related to maintenance activities.
• 8. Be available to visit or assist at sites when required, serving as backup support for the maintenance team during preventive or corrective work.
• 9. Conduct basic inspections, troubleshooting, and verification tasks on‑site under the supervision of senior personnel.
• 10. Make sure all maintenance work adheres to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• 11. Provide both administrative and technical support to the O&M department, including managing data, maintaining records, and ensuring effective internal communication.

Requirements

Academic Qualification

• 1. Candidate must possess SPM certificate or certificate in Solar Systems Installation and Maintenance by SEDA.
• 2. Candidates who possess experience and knowledge in handling equipment and in electrical field.
• 3. Candidates who are working on those Competency from ST or SEDA are encouraged to apply.

Experiences

• 1. Knowledge in solar systems and electrical parts such as PV modules, inverters, circuit breaker and cables.
• 2. Strong problem-solving skills and able to work in a team.
• 3. Good attitude, discipline and high level of integrity.
