Job summary

Northern Solar Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Solar Project Manager based in Malaysia to oversee end-to-end solar projects from planning through execution. You will lead engineers and technicians, supervise on-site activities, and coordinate closely with design, QS, and licensing teams to ensure compliance with schedules and quality standards.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, have 8+ years of relevant experience, and are willing to travel with their own

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in Solar Energy Industry will be added advantage.
• Good Time Management & Planning.
• Possess own transport & willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end Solar project management including project allocation, schedule planning, cost control, quality control, on-site supervision, and team leadership.
• Lead a team of engineers & technicians and coordinate with design, QS and licensing teams.
• Deal with local authority Seda/TNB/ST for related applications and approvals.
• Liaise with project consultants, consumers and other stakeholders to meet expectations.
• Deliver projects as per schedule and quality per specifications, with on-site safety managed by HSE team.

Job description

Key responsibilities

Project Management related works including project allocation, schedule planning, cost control, quality control & management

On Site Project Management & Supervision

Lead a team of engineers & technician

Work closely with design team & QS team & Licensing team and other project relevant team

Deal with local authority Seda/TNB/ST for related application

Liaise and manage with related project consultant & consumer & other stakeholders' expectation

Deliver Project as per schedule & quality control as per specification

Manage the safety and health at site with HSE team support

Evaluating the performance of site employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed

Perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time

About you

Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent

At least 8 years of relevant working experience

Experience in Solar Energy Industry will be added advantage

Good Time Management & Planning

Possess own transport & willing to travel
