Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd in Klang, Selangor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar projects from handover through commissioning and final handover. Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires a degree in engineering with at least 5 years of C&I solar experience, familiarity with local authority approvals and interconnection rules, and strong stakeholder management; travel to sites will be

Qualifications

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience managing Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar projects.
• Proven track record in end-to-end delivery of C&I Solar projects.
• Familiarity with Malaysian local authority approval processes, TNB/utility interconnection requirements, and relevant industry standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and other project management tools; demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management.
• Able to manage multiple concurrent projects, travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar projects from project handover to final completion.
• Plan, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables to deliver safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to maintain smooth execution at every phase.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement effective mitigation plans.
• Manage project scope, variations, change orders, and contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Review project progress, budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation, providing regular updates to management and clients.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure effective communication among internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ensure successful testing, commissioning, project completion, and final handover.
• Any other duties as assigned to support business operations and project requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to successfully deliver Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar projects. You will be responsible for managing projects from handover through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. • Able to manage multiple concurrent projects, work with autonomy, and travel to project sites as required.
