Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Project Manager for Property Development in Malaysia. The role oversees real estate projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high quality with strong safety standards.

You will coordinate diverse teams, secure necessary approvals, and manage budgets and contracts to ensure successful commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Real Estate.
• 7-10 years in property development project management.
• Experience in commercial development.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall project execution, site operations, construction timelines and budget compliance for commercial, residential, or mixed-use builds.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including architects, engineers, consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, and local authorities.
• Navigate and secure required statutory approvals, permits, and regulatory compliance clearances.
• Track project milestones, identify risks early, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain rigorous QA/QC and health, safety, and environmental standards across site operations.
• Manage contract administration, evaluate variation orders, assess claims, and track expenditures against budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct overall project execution, site operations, construction timelines, and budget compliance for commercial, residential, or mixed-use builds.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, and local authorities.
• Navigate and secure required statutory approvals, permits, and regulatory compliance clearances.
• Track project milestones, identify potential operational risks early, and implement swift mitigation strategies.
• Maintain rigorous quality assurance (QA/QC) alongside health, safety, and environmental standards across site operations.
• Manage contract administration, evaluate variation orders (VOs), assess claims, and track expenditures against project budgets.
