Job summary

Jbsfamily in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a Project Manager (IT Infrastructure) to lead delivery of IT infrastructure projects from inception to completion, coordinating Network Engineers, System Engineers and Data Center Engineers.

The role requires 5+ years in IT infrastructure project management, experience in managed services or IT consulting, willingness to travel, and a degree in Computer Science/IT. PMI/PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of experience in IT infra project management.
• Experience in managed services or IT consulting environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent.
• PMI/PMP certification would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Providing project leadership and management of the projects, leading from inception to completion
• Acting as a Single Point of Contact in Client Engagement
• Owning the project scope, SLA and cost plan
• Resource allocation and managing project timeline
• Forecasting revenue and costs of ongoing projects/contracts with minimum deviation
• Monitoring/ Tracking P&L of ongoing projects/contracts
• Managing costs of ongoing contracts to ensure project margins targets are met
• Liaising with PMA, CSU Finance in matters of revenue forecast and accrual, cost forecast and posting

Job Summary

As a Project Manager (IT Infrastructure), you will be part of the Project Delivery team that ensures all projects and SOW are well-planned, managed and delivered within the timeframe. You will work closely with project resources such as Network Engineer, System Engineers, Data Center Engineers along the way. Having sound knowledge across infrastructure and networking technologies are essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing project leadership and management of the projects, leading from inception to completion


• Acting as a Single Point of Contact in Client Engagement


• Owning the project scope, SLA and cost plan


• Resource allocation and managing project timeline


• Forecasting revenue and costs of ongoing projects/contracts with minimum deviation


• Monitoring/ Tracking P&L of ongoing projects/contracts


• Managing costs of ongoing contracts to ensure project margins targets are met


• Liaising with PMA, CSU Finance in matters of :-


• Revenue forecast and accrual


• Cost forecast and posting


• Evaluating needs and delivering continuous process and service improvements

Customer/Vendor Management

• Negotiate with vendors and across teams to ensure adequate resources are available during various phases of the project


• Negotiate with customers on change request effort, schedules and prioritize changes based on business needs


• Clear and open communication with customers on project issues or clarifications

Requirements

• Able to travel as required
