Job summary

Siemens Energy in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead FPSO Topside and Hull projects across the full lifecycle, from planning to closure. You will drive cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with technical and commercial objectives for oil and gas applications.

You will negotiate with customers and suppliers, maintain stakeholder relationships, and deliver tailored solutions while upholding Siemens Energy standards and processes in a dynamic project

Qualifications

• PMP and IPMA certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 8+ years in industrial/energy PM.
• Experience leading FPSO projects in Oil & Gas.
• Strong leadership and English fluency.

As a Project Manager, you will take a central role in leading complex FPSO Topside and Hull projects for Oil and Gas Industry. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and scoping through to execution, delivery, and closure, ensuring that all technical and economic objectives are met. Your primary responsibilities will include managing project finances to ensure a positive outcome, leading and collaborating with cross-functional project teams, and serving as the main point of contact for customers. This involves solving complex problems, optimizing project progress, and delivering tailored solutions that meet specific client needs. You will adhere to established project management frameworks while continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in technical project management, a strong understanding of FPSO projects, and proven leadership capabilities. You must be adept at handling complex negotiations, managing stakeholder relationships with professionalism, and adapting to the dynamic changes inherent in customer-specific projects. A strong service mindset and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

  • Lead complex negotiations with customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
• 30% Stakeholder & Customer Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the customer, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communications across all levels of the project.
  • Collaborate with customers to define project requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by professionally addressing issues and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
