Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale Data Warehouse, Data Platform, and Data Migration initiatives within a banking environment. You will collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver on time and within scope.

The role requires 5+ years in project management, strong risk and dependency management, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced financial setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Proven experience in Data Warehouse, Data Platform, Data Migration, or large-scale technology projects.
• Good understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse architecture and migration concepts.
• Experience managing multiple technical teams and vendors.
• Strong risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management.
• Strong planning, critical-path, communication, and reporting skills.
• Able to understand technical issues and coordinate with Technical Leads.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure banking environment.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, PM, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Data Warehouse, Data Platform, and Data Migration projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and critical paths.
• Coordinate multiple technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery impacts.
• Work with Technical Leads to understand issues and drive timely resolution.
• Monitor project progress and address potential delays.
• Manage multiple releases and parallel workstreams.
• Prepare project status reports and updates for management.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and escalate critical issues when required.
• Ensure effective communication across project teams.
