Job summary

Hy Solution in Malaysia is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple infrastructure construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

You will lead project teams, supervise site operations, enforce quality standards, and manage clients and authorities, coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple infrastructure construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Develop project execution plans, work schedules, and resource planning.
• Monitor project progress against timeline and budget.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved according to contractual requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Supervise Site Managers, Site Supervisors, Project Engineers, and other site personnel.
• Coordinate daily site activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure adequate manpower, machinery, and materials are available.
• Resolve technical and operational issues promptly.
• Ensure works comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.
• Ensure timely rectification of defects and non-conformance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors.
• Represent the company during project meetings.
• Handle client complaints and resolve project-related issues professionally.
• Lead, coach, and mentor project teams.
• Evaluate team performance.

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of infrastructure construction projects. This includes ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and statutory regulations while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.
