Job summary

Emerson Malaysia seeks a customer-focused Project Manager to lead assigned projects from award to completion in line with PMO processes. You will coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and other teams to ensure timely execution and compliance with contract requirements.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, budgeting skills, and travel as needed to support project delivery and customer satisfaction across industrial manufacturing and related sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering as listed.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in industrial manufacturing, EPC, flow control, valves, instrumentation, or related industries.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of project financial management and change order management.
• Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Track project KPIs and provide regular status updates to internal management and external customers.
• Ensure accurate project documentation and successful project handover.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in industrial manufacturing, EPC, flow control, valves, instrumentation, or related industries.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of project financial management and change order management.
• Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel based on project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience with engineered flow control products, including control valves, actuators, and regulators.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, ASTM, IEC, and ISA.
• Experience managing complex international or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of project management tools and best practices.
