Job summary

Emerson is seeking a customer-focused Project Manager in Malaysia to lead multi-discipline projects from award to completion. You will drive planning, scheduling, budgeting and forecasting while coordinating engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, logistics and other teams.

You will monitor performance, mitigate risks, and ensure profitable outcomes and successful handovers. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of PM experience in industrial manufacturing or EPC, with strong communication

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/instrumentation & control or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in industrial manufacturing, EPC, flow control, valves, instrumentation, or related industries.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of project financial management and change order management.
• Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.

• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and business partners through effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Track project KPIs and provide regular status updates to internal management and external customers.
• Ensure accurate project documentation and successful project handover.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in industrial manufacturing, EPC, flow control, valves, instrumentation, or related industries.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of project financial management and change order management.
• Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel based on project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience with engineered flow control products, including control valves, actuators, and regulators.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, ASTM, IEC, and ISA.
• Experience managing complex international or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of project management tools and best practices.
