Qaaf Resources Sdn. Bhd is seeking an IT Project Manager with 7–10 years of IT experience to lead cross-functional projects, define plans, coordinate vendors, and ensure on-time delivery in Malaysia.

The role requires PMO compliance, risk management, and clear communication with stakeholders; you will coordinate with solution architects and other PMOs to enable seamless system integration. Strong knowledge of PMBOK, PRINCE2 and DevOps, plus a bachelor’s degree in a related field, are expected

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/telecom or related field.
• 7–10 years IT experience, including at least 3 years in project management.
• Project management certification or recognised curriculum.
• Familiar with PM methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, DevOps).
• Strong ability to translate business needs into solutions.

A professional at this position level must have the following responsibilities :-

• Define the project plan and schedule and coordinate with vendor to reach common agreement on timeline, milestones, deliverables and deadlines
• Adhere to the Project Management Office (PMO) requirements of the enterprise PMO including creation of weekly/monthly status with updated schedule, budget and risk
• Manage the project log for the project to incorporate all issues, action items, risks and reviewed it on a weekly/monthly basis with steering committee to identify escalation and mitigation strategies
• Conduct testing alongside with PMO and Solution Architect (SA) to ensure test coverage is met and satisfactory as per customer standards
• Work with project manager’s of other projects to co-ordinate system integration scope and requirements
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Report and escalate project issues to management as needed
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Ensure adherence to ICT Policies and Guidelines

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunication or other related field
• 7 to 10years of IT work experience, including 3 or more years managing projects
• Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required
• Familiar with project management methodologies (for example, PMBOK, PRINCE2 and DevOps)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
