Job summary

MVC Resources in Malaysia seeks an experienced project manager to lead end-to-end project execution from contract review through to customer acceptance and documentation delivery.

The role requires defining project scopes, managing procurement, monitoring progress, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring on-time delivery that strictly meets quality and design specifications. Strong communication with customers on changes and thorough project wrap-ups is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or Electronics Engineering or relevant field.
• Experience in machinery/automation and project management is advantageous.
• Strong technical acumen and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to lead, manage resources and work under pressure.
• Good time management and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Define project scopes and execution plans from start to finish.
• Review contracts and mitigate risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage procurement, monitor progress and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Ensure on-time delivery that meets quality and design specs.

Job description

This position leads end-to-end project execution, from initial contract review and risk mitigation through to final customer acceptance and documentation delivery. Responsibilities include defining project scopes, managing procurement, monitoring progress, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery that strictly meets quality and design specifications. Additionally, the role manages customer communications regarding project changes, oversees field installation plans, and drives thorough project wrap-ups.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or relevant.
• Relevant working experience in machinery/ automation industry and project management will be an added advantage.
• Possess strong technical acumen, excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
• Possess strong management, leadership and resourceful skills, mature, self motivated, analytical, independent, initiative, responsible and able to work under pressure.
• Good time management.
• Computer literate and excellent in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
