Job summary

VC Engineering Sdn Bhd seeks a seasoned Project Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead advance industrial projects, including data centers and cleanroom facilities. You will drive planning, execution, and delivery with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires 10+ years in project management, strong MEP knowledge, and leadership experience overseeing construction or MEP projects. PMP is a strong advantage and collaboration with clients is key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 10+ years of PM experience, with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Experience on advance industrial, cleanroom or data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and oversee execution of complex construction projects across schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, providing leadership to project teams, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
• Review and validate technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Serve as primary liaison with clients, consultants, and stakeholders; ensure clear communication.
• Monitor site activities to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement, mentoring project engineers and developing leaders.
• Report project progress and financial performance to senior management.

We are seeking a Project Manager with strong leadership and technical expertise to manage and deliver complex advance industrial projects — ensuring every stage meets our high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

What You'll Do:

Lead, plan, and oversee the execution of complex construction projects, ensuring excellence in delivery across schedule, budget, and quality targets.

Manage multiple projects concurrently, providing leadership and direction to project teams, engineers, and subcontractors.

Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.

Review and validate technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.

Serve as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, and stakeholders — ensuring clear communication and proactive issue resolution.

Monitor and control site activities to ensure strict adherence tosafety standards, quality benchmarks, and statutory regulations.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring project engineers and developing the next generation of project leaders.

Report project progress, financial performance, and potential risks to senior management.

What You Bring:

A confident project leader with experience delivering complex projects in high-impact industries, including Data Centers, Semiconductor, and FMCG,driven by technical excellence, effective coordination, and disciplined execution.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).

10+ years of project management experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role overseeing construction or MEP projects.

Proven experience in managing advance industrial, cleanroom, or data center projects will be an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, construction sequencing, and commissioning processes.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent qualification is a strong advantage.
