Job summary

AFED Digital is seeking a senior project leadership professional responsible for stakeholder and client management across complex engagements in Malaysia. You will drive governance, risk, and quality disciplines while guiding cross–functional teams to achieve strategic outcomes.

The role requires extensive experience in managing large-scale programmes, delivering within scope, budget, and schedule, and mentoring junior project managers to foster capability growth within a dynamic delivery

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in project management, consulting, digital transformation, or technology delivery environments.
• At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale projects, programmes, or strategic client engagements.
• Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Conduct project review meetings, steering committee sessions, and progress updates.
• Manage stakeholder communications and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong customer relationships and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and financial performance.
• Monitor project profitability and utilization rates.
• Ensure efficient deployment of project resources and delivery teams.
• Support commercial discussions related to project scope and change requests.

• Conduct project closure reviews and lessons-learned sessions.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising consultants, technical specialists, and project resources.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance project environment.
• Mentor junior project managers and project team members.
• Support capability development and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Job Requirements
