IntelliPro is seeking a Project Manager in Malaysia to lead projects from initiation through completion, coordinating across cross-functional teams to meet milestones, timelines, budgets and deliverables.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or above and at least 1 year of project management experience, with a preference for NPI projects in battery/advanced manufacturing sectors. Proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of project management experience; background in new energy, batteries, automotive, or high-end manufacturing industries preferred.
• Fluent communication in English and Chinese preferred.
• Familiarity with PMP, PRINCE2, Agile; proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Jira, SAP PM preferred.

Salary Range: RM4,000 - RM8,000 (Depending on experience)

Our Client

A fast-growing battery manufacturing company. You are responsible for planning and driving projects from initiation through completion, ensuring key milestones, timelines, budgets, and deliverables are achieved. This role serves as the central point of coordination across cross-functional teams, manages project risks and scope changes, leads progress reviews, and provides clear status updates to management to ensure the successful delivery of NPI and manufacturing-related projects.

Job Responsibilities

- Project Planning & Execution

• Develop detailed project plans, defining key milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and take corrective actions promptly to ensure the project stays on track.
• Manage scope changes and assess their impact on time, cost, and resources.

- Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication

• Act as the core hub to coordinate whole team.
• Organise and chair project meetings (e.g., weekly meetings, milestone reviews) and track the closure of Action Items.
• Report project status, risks, and required support to management.
• Identify potential project risks (technical, supply chain, quality, cost, etc.) and maintain a risk register.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies to proactively avoid or reduce the impact of risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of project management experience. Background in new energy, batteries, automotive, or high-end manufacturing industries is preferred. Experience in complete product NPI (New Product Introduction) projects from 0 to 1 is preferred.
• Excellent communication, coordination, leadership, and stress management skills. Fluent communication in English and Chinese is preferred.
• Strong results-oriented mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.). Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SAP PM, etc.) is preferred.
