Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an on-site project leader in Penang to plan, implement, and complete assigned ELV projects, including security system design and coordination with customers and subcontractors. You will manage resources, track progress, and ensure projects meet quality, schedule and safety requirements.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree and 3+ years in construction or building technologies with project management exposure. Willingness to travel nationwide is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in Construction or Building Technologies Industries and project management in Security System or ELV System related industries is helpful.
• Familiar with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site project leader to plan, implement, and complete assigned projects.
• Delegate tasks to optimize resources and improve gross margin.
• Coordinate communication with customers and subcontractors during all project phases.
• Prepare project documentation including weekly/monthly reports, plans, technical documents, and drawings.
• Monitor progress and ensure completion within budget, schedule, and safety standards.
