Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Project Executive to oversee multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget while maintaining quality. This role requires coordinating with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and thorough monitoring and reporting on progress.

You will develop schedules, manage timelines, procure items, act as main point of contact, and generate weekly site reports. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD are essential;

The Project Executive is responsible for overseeing various aspects of project execution, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining high standards of quality. This role requires effective coordination with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, as well as thorough monitoring and reporting on project progress.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, prepare, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion
• Continuously monitor project timelines, making necessary adjustments to keep projects on track and ensure adherence to deadlines
• Plan and execute project activities, including sourcing suppliers and procuring items, to ensure alignment with predefined objectives for time, cost, and quality
• Act as the main point of contact for contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
• Distribute necessary drawings, communicate construction methods, and ensure that all parties fulfil their delivery and workmanship commitments
• Oversee the quality of work performed and materials used to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Coordinate the handover of completed projects, ensuring all completed work meets the required standards of workmanship
• Generate weekly site reports that detail project progress, technical specifics, and any challenges encountered
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities
• Take on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior

Requirement:

• Experience working on projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Skilled in 2D AutoCad floor plan sketching
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Skilled in conveying project plans, distributing drawings, and ensuring all stakeholders understand construction methods and delivery expectations
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Capable of identifying and resolving issues proactively to keep projects on track
• Willing to travel, possess own transportation with active car license
• Flexible on working schedule, able to work during weekends or Public Holiday and willing to work overtime when needed
