Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to manage customer projects from initiation to closing. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor progress and cost, and drive site supervision, commissioning, and start-up activities on customer sites in Malaysia.

Required are a registered engineering degree, 3–5 years of project experience, and hands-on use of Click Up and PPM. The role emphasizes agile work habits, problem solving, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable university.
• 3–5 years of experience in Project Engineering or Execution.
• End-to-end project lifecycle experience from initiation to closing.
• Hands-on use of project reporting tools like Click Up and PPM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, and implement detailed execution plans for assigned projects.
• Monitor project progress, performance, and cost to ensure alignment with the plan and profitability targets.
• Proactively resolve operational issues and minimize delays throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and coordinate the necessary resources internal and external to ensure timely project delivery.
• Collaborate with internal departments to secure specialized support.
• Manage and coordinate third-party contractors to ensure quality and integration with internal project activities.
• Monitor on-site activities and support commissioning and start-up processes with service engineers.
• Monitor troubleshooting efforts and manage issues during the warranty period.

About The Job

In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer Project to ensure contract fulfillment, including technical, time plan, cost control, resource/supply chain management, site supervision, commissioning and start up.

What You Know
